The Reverse Osmosis System
Osmosis is a natural process that occurs when two volumes of water are separated by a semi-permeable membrane, which has holes that are small enough to trap contaminants, but allows water to flow through.
Water will flow through the semi-permeable membrane from the side of the low solute concentration (fewer contaminants) to the side of the high solute concentration (more contaminants) in order to restore equilibrium between the two sides. This flow of water may be stopped or even reversed if external pressure is applied to the higher solute concentration, ensuring the purification of the water.
The table on the right demonstrates the different types of contaminants that are removed from the water through our system.

1 The first stage of filtration is the sediment filter, which reduces suspended particles such as dirt, dust and rust.
2 The second stage of filtration is the carbon filter. This filter reduces volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), chlorine, and other compounds that might impact the taste or odor of the water.
Chlorine should be removed from the water before the water enters the membrane. This will help preserve the life of the membrane.
3 The center and third stage of a reverse osmosis system is the semi-permeable membrane. It is responsible for rejecting up to 98% of the total dissolved solids in the water. This is where the purification takes place.

Tube ice is so called because of its beautiful cylindrical shape. It is the all-purpose ice for chilling and consumption, and is commonly used in restaurants, pubs, home parties & barbeques!

We offer 3 different sizes of the clear cut ice for home consumption. These clear cut ice pieces are intended for use in either highball or old fashioned glass sizes. Highball glasses are the tall and skinny cups. Old fashioned cups are short and stout, whiskey on the rocks are usually served in these glasses

PURE WATER

After the water is filtered through the RO station and Ozone purification, Gourmet Ice Cubes are formed by spraying water upwards into an inverted mold. This results in the removal of sediment and impurities from the mold, resulting in firm ice cubes that are completely free of unwanted residue.

UNIQUE SHAPE

Their unique shape means that these cubes are less prone to sticking together in the ice bucket or bags, and are therefore easier to handle than the more traditional square cube.

SLOW-MELTING

The clarity of Gourmet Ice Cubes makes them the perfect choice in terms of presentation, while their purity ensures that they are slow-melt. In addition, ice bags are stored in -22°C cold rooms and later transported into trucks.
